KnowMe ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your information.

Information We Collect

KnowMe collects only the minimum information necessary to provide the real-time multiplayer experience.

• Guest Mode: No account is required. You can play as a guest with no personal data collected.
• Optional Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address solely to identify your account and save game history.
• Game Answers: Your personal answers during a quiz session are used only for that game round and are not stored on our servers after the game ends.
• Game History & Stats: If signed in, aggregate results (scores, match percentages) are stored to enable your history and leaderboard features.

Real-Time Multiplayer

KnowMe uses Firebase to power real-time rooms. Room data (including in-game answers) exists only for the duration of the session and is automatically deleted when the game concludes.

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase (real-time database & authentication)
• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In
• Google AdMob (for ad-based question pack unlocks)
• Google Play Services / Apple App Store Services

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

In-App Purchases

Premium question pack purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store or process any payment information directly.

Children's Privacy

KnowMe is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data Retention

Guest session data is never retained. Signed-in user data (game history, stats) is retained until you delete your account. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
